Santhiram Engineering College (SREC) is sponsored by M/s Sri Shirdi Sai Educational Academy, Nandyal. It is established under the able guidance of Dr.M.Santhiramudu, Chairman, in the year 2007 with a Noble motto "Education for peace and progress". The boundless energy of Er. M. Sivaram, Managing Director and Dr. M. V. Subramanyam, Principal of the college, are the source of inspiration to our faculties and students. SREC is permanently affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Ananthapuramu and provides an excellent value based technical education by keeping the overall growth and development of students in mind. The International Conference on Advances in Engineer-ing and Management Sciences (ICAEMS - 17) is proposed to to conduct during 14th and 15th July, 2017. It is planned to organize by Departments of Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering ,Management Studies and Science & Humanity of SREC. The main objective of this conference is to bring together industrial experts, teachers, research scholars and students around the globe, to provide a plat-form tol present their research results. This comes in appropriate time to establish an effective channel to exchange new ideas and development activities in the fields of Engineering, Management and Sciences. This will offer greater opportunity to explore innovative and intelligent engineering concepts and other advanced process in wide range of applications.

About Nandyal

The historical city of Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh, India is surrounded by hills with the Kundu River on its west, the dense forests of Nallamala Hills to the east and granite mines to the south. The town is rich in water resources like reservoirs and natural resources like granite and marble. Nandyal has several historical and sacred destinations like Belum Caves, Nine Nandi temples, Sri Yaganti, Ahobilam and Srisailam. Nine Nandi temples has been an important pilgrimage site since the days of the Vijayanagar Kingdom around the 14th century. Sri Yaganti is having the world's largest Nandi idol and the rock grows at the rate of 2.5 cm per 20 years, as per Archaeological Survey of India. These places are not only the pilgrimage centers but also speak the cultural heritage of ancient Andhra Pradesh.Nandyal is the oldest municipality of Andhra Pradesh and was visited, among others, by Shri. Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Shri. Jawaharlal Nehru, and Shrimathi. Indira Gandhi. This is the only one parliament constitution which produced both Prime Minister and President.
